An Ordinance to amend the Squatters Ordinance, 1690

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions

This Ordinance amends section 12 of the Squatters Ordiname,
In certain cases squatters' claims have ben allowed by the
Board but it has been deemed desirable to withhold the grant of
Leases until s nitary buildings have been constructed and the
Director of Public Works is given the alternative power of
arranging for the grant of new sites in approved positions in
exchange for the original holdings.
